Home Screen Stuff Problem Reports

This really isn't a page about bragging about how cool my PC is, fact is it's not reall cutting edge really, it's more to let people know what I have found to work well and what I thought really stunk.  So read on, and soon I will be posting some benchmarks.   As a side note, this is a custom build put together part by part.  Check out the problem report's page to find info on some of the "undocumented" features they never put on the box.

CPU Intel PII 350 Nice cpu for the money
Memory 128mb PC100 SDRAM Dimms 128 is cool, but I'm not real sure if it's worth it unless you run NT.  Right now I'm on 98.
HD1 IBM Deskstar 10.1GB Nice drive and a real good price.  Go to http://www.pctoday.com and look for Compu-U-Plus Direct.  Plus you can find other great deals there.
HD2 Western Digital 2.1GB Ok drive, little older
Video Creative Labs RivaTNT (PCI) I like this card, just wish I had gotten the AGP version.
3D Card Creative Labs 3dfx Voodoo2 8mb Love this one to, even though the Diamond Monster is a little quicker.  Only thing I would change is getting the 12mb version.
DVD Creative Labs 5X Nice, real nice.  DVD is good :)
CD-Recorder HP CD-Writer + (2X Write 6X Read) Very handy, and only $299.  Highly recomended.
Monitor 17" Sony Trinitron Multiscan200ES Not a bad monitor, VeiwSonic makes a nice 17 also, and the price is pretty good.
Speakers Altec Lansing ADA-305 Too cool, I never thought a killer set of speakers would make such a difference!
Sound Card Creative Labs AWE64 Value Good card without breaking the bank.
External Storage Iomega ZIP-100 Yeah, pretty much never use it after the CD-R.
